Qlik Cloud capacity tiers are flat. Your user count does not change the bill. What restricts you and what costs you is consumption: data volume, app memory, and AI usage. This calculator takes your workload and shows which tier you fit into, what it costs per month and per year, and how that compares to legacy user-based pricing.
Qlik Cloud Capacity Estimator
Enter your workload to see which Qlik Cloud tier fits. Capacity pricing is flat per tier — your user count doesn't change the bill, only consumption (data volume, app memory, AI) does. The legacy comparison shows where the crossover is.
How the estimate is built
The calculator picks a tier based on your largest app size in memory (5 GB on Standard, 10 GB on Premium), total data volume across apps (25 GB Standard, 50 GB Premium), and whether you need AI or ML features (Premium and above). Anything past Premium limits routes to Enterprise. The cost figures use published Qlik list prices as of 2026.
When does capacity-based pricing win?
The crossover is driven entirely by Analyzer (viewer) user count, since capacity tiers do not charge per viewer. With a small team you are usually cheaper on legacy user-based pricing. As soon as you add enough viewers to push the legacy bill past the tier base price, capacity wins, and every additional viewer is free. The verdict shown by the calculator includes the exact crossover number for your setup.
What the calculator does not include
This is a sizing estimate, not a quote. It excludes implementation services, data engineering, training, Talend Data Integration add-ons, and any negotiated discount. Use it to short-list the tier you need before you contact Qlik sales, or to sanity check a quote you already have.
